It’s time for the “ber” months! It’s my favorite time of year. I know people may complain that it’s going to get colder or that the year is ending but I love the season change and the holidays that are approaching. Putting the fall and Halloween decorations up and the summer decorations away always brings happiness and nostalgia. Not the mention, that kids are going back to school and back in their routine.
And it’s a good time to start crafting for the holidays and holiday gifts. I have been saving this craft to do to have ready for Halloween decorating. This foam noodle candle stack turned out awesome and I am so excited to get the rest of the decorations out with it this weekend. My little guy loves Halloween and he was pumped to help me with this craft. I’ll mention where I snagged everything from so you can make it too!
I also did a little 5-minute craft, too, that I’ll add at the end, if you want to get the supplies for it too!
Dive in with me while we make a foam noodle candle stack!
First, Gather Your Supplies

Battery operated tea lights
Black spray paint
Glue gun with extra glue sticks
Painters tape
String or twine
Tray or cardboard
Knife to cut foam
Flowers/bones/faux spider web
Step 1
Figure out how many “candles” you want and cut the noodles to various lengths. On one end of the noodle, cut the end at an angle. You will then use the knife to cut out a circle in the middle of the angle so the candle can sit flat.
Step 2
Once the noodles are cut, position the noodles how you want them and hot clue them together. I did dots at the bottom and halfway up the noodle so the tops were still free. Glue to the tray or cardboard which it will rest on.
Step 3
Start “dripping” the glue down the top so it looks like melted wax. I put the glue around the top edge then had it go down the sides.
Step 4
Use the painters tape to cover then “flames” of the tea lights. My little guy did this for me and saved me a lot of time doing it myself. You can use different tape but the painters tape won’t stick too much to the flame like other tapes would.

Step 5
Head outside or to a well ventilated space and spray the lights and foam candles and stand to cover completely in black. Wait for it to dry per what the can says.
Step 6
Cut the stems of the flowers and once the foam candles are dry, place them around the bottom to decorate it or cover the area. I also added bones and some spiders. Remove the tape from the candles and place on the foam candles.

Finished and ready to decorate for Halloween! This turned out amazing and it was so easy to do. It was a fun craft for my little guy to get involved with as well. I hope you can make this craft your own and it brings you festive delight!
Dollar Tree Pumpkin Candle Holder
I also was able to grab the supplies for this craft when I was at the dollar store and it’s perfect for some extra decorating! The supplies were less then $10 and was really quick to put together.
You’ll need:
2 glass Jack o lanterns pumpkins
2 candles votive stands
Glue gun/ glue sticks
2 battery operates tea lights or votive candles
You’ll remove the stickers from the supplies. Then put the glue on the bottom of the jack o lantern and center it on the votive stand. That’s it!! You’ll add the candle to the pumpkin and you have 2 super easy Halloween decorations! It took me 5 minutes to make both!

This is a wonderful time of year to enjoy crafting and getting into the spirit of the holidays. Growing up, we had the house decorated from September through new year! My mom instilled in us a love of the holidays and I love decorating for them and enjoying the events that come with each holiday! Hopefully these crafts can add some festive decorations for a cheap price tag and still look great!
